Slow Flow Yoga

Move mindfully with your breath in this flowing practice, creating space to ground, connect and be present. Suitable for all levels, each class offers a balance of energising Yang movement and calming Yin, with the wisdom of the Five Elements Theory woven throughout. A practice to support strength, flexibility and a deeper connection between body, mind and environment.

Gentle Yoga

A nurturing and supportive yoga class designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body and settle the mind. Using props such as chairs, bolsters, blocks, blankets and straps, we create support for the body so you can move with greater ease and awareness. Gentle movement will help open and release the body, explore its energetic lines and create a sense of space and freedom from within. We’ll weave in breathwork to calm the nervous system and deepen the connection between breath, body and mind. And, meditation to settle into a peaceful, grounded state. A gentle practice for all bodies and abilities, offering space to breathe, soften, move and simply be.

Yin Yoga

Join me for a dive into Yin Yoga, where we hold poses, generally on the floor, for a few minutes at a time. This allows the body to gently open and release held tension in both the body and mind. The sustained, weight-bearing nature of some poses can also provide gentle loading through the body, supporting healthy bones and joints.

We will explore the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, learning about the energetic pathways of the body and how they connect with the seasons, organs and lifestyle practices that can help bring the body into balance.

Meditation and breathwork will also be included, with props provided to support you throughout the practice.

Restorative Yoga, Meditation & Sound Healing

A restorative evening of meditation, pranayama (focused breathing) and beautifully supported shapes, to help calm the mind, reconnect with the body and create a deeper sense of relaxation. We’ll finish with the soothing sounds and vibrations of crystal singing bowls, allowing you to let go, unwind and settle into a peaceful state of deep rest.

My Yoga Journey

I’ve been teaching yoga for approximately 20 years and continue to be inspired by the many ways this practice supports our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

My training includes Level 1 and 2 Teacher Training with Byron Yoga Centre, Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training through the Australian Academy of Yoga, Kids Yoga Teacher Training with Rainbow Kids, and Zenthai Flow Yoga with Gwyn Williams. These experiences have shaped my teaching into a practice that honours mindful movement, breath, presence and connection to self and environment.

I ran community yoga classes in Tooradin for many years before moving to the Sunshine Coast, where my own yoga practice and teaching continued to grow. During my time there, I had the joy of teaching a wonderful new community from my beautiful space in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Since returning to Victoria, I’ve reconnected with many of my original students in Tooradin and, during the warmer months, enjoy sharing yoga on my farm.

I’ve also recently become part of the local bowls community in Koo Wee Rup, and I’m delighted to now bring yoga to this beautiful space and share it with the wider Koo Wee Rup community.

My classes in Koo Wee Rup are welcoming, down-to-earth and suitable for all levels of experience. Whether you’re completely new to yoga or have been practising for years, you’ll be encouraged to move at your own pace and listen to your body.

Each class offers an opportunity to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with yourself through mindful movement, meditation and relaxation. My hope is that you’ll leave feeling stronger, calmer, more balanced and with a greater sense of ease in both body and mind.

I look forward to welcoming you into a supportive community where you can take time for yourself, nurture your wellbeing and experience the many benefits of yoga.
